"I Love the Outdoors" Writing Contest for Children Ages 5-12

Let's get our children outside a TON this summer... and also reading and writing for fun!
Presenting... our first ever children's writing contest! The winning pieces will be shared on the blog. See the poster and details below.
Special thank you to Blue Bunny Books and Toys and Mass Audubon's Trailside Museum for providing prizes. These spots are Wike Baby favorites that are definitely worth visiting.
Please share this with all the children ages 5-12 in your life!
Contest Details:
Children ages 5-12 are eligible to enter the contest. Text must be written by the child. Contest entries must respond to one of the following prompts:
What is your favorite special place outdoors?
What would you change about the outdoor spaces near your home?
What is your favorite season for playing or exploring outside?
Children are encouraged to submit original photographs taken by the child and/or original artwork created by the child related to the prompt.
Entries must include the first name, age of the child, and location. Children’s last names will not be posted online. Entries must come from the child’s parent/guardian’s email address and include the full name of the parent and a telephone number. By entering the contest, you agree to have the child's submitted work shared on the Wike Baby blog. By entering the contest, you also agree to have the work edited by the blog if deemed necessary by Wike Baby.
Winners will be notified by email and/or phone by August 31, 2018.
Prizes: Three winners will receive one autographed copy of Judy Moody Saves the World, donated by Blue Bunny Books and Toys of Dedham, MA. Two winners will receive passes for four to Massachusetts Audubon’s Trailside Museum in Canton, MA. All winners will be published on the Wike Baby blog within one year. You must reside in one of the 50 United States or District of Columbia to win the book or passes; entries from outside of the United States are eligible to be published on Wike Baby.
